Michigan history
The fourth grade social studies curriculum is focused on Michigan studies. As a way of bringing together all that we learn, the students participate in a 6 week project culminating in an evening exhibition called “Magnificent Michigan”. This project will include several components which will require work both in and out of school. The final exhibition will be held the night of Wednesday, May 24, 2017.
Another aspect of Michigan history is government. We will have an opportunity to visit our state capitol in Lansing on Friday, May 5, 2017.
